PENGARUH PEMBERIAN VITAMIN C DAN VITAMIN E TERHADAP LAMA SIKLUS ESTRUS TIKUS (Rattus norvegicus) GALUR WISTAR BETINA YANG DIBERI RHODAMIN B

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk membuktikan pengaruh antioksidan vitamin C, vitamin E, maupun kombinasi keduanya terhadap lama siklus estrus tikus (Rattus norvegicus) yang telah diberi rhodamin B. Dua puluh lima tikus betina dewasa dikelompokkan kedalam lima kelompok acak, kelompok kontrol(-) (tanpa perlakuan); K+ kelompok Rhodamin B, kelompok rhodamin B yang diberi vitamin C (600mg/Kg), kelompok rhodamin B yang diberi vitamin E (40IU/KgBB), kelompok rhodamin B yang diberi vitamin E dan vitamin C. Fase dalam siklus estrus diamati dengan mengamati ciri-ciri vaginal swab. Analasis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji post hoc LSD. Hasil dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa vitamin C yang diberi sendiri, serta kombinasi kedua vitamin berpengaruh signifikan (P< 0,05) memperlambat panjang siklus estrus, sedangkan vitamin E dapat memperlambat siklus estrus namun tidak berbeda secara bermakana (P> 0,05).
